The Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist is a crucial role within the Marketing organization. This role works with the Digital Capabilities and User Experience teams to measure and analyze the effectiveness of new & existing digital capabilities for the Card Services line of business. The Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist will work with our internal stakeholders to maximize website and mobile app performance. They will support website and mobile app reporting strategies to track against digital KPI’s for presentation to key internal stakeholders. In addition to implementing and influencing our digital analytics best practices, the Sr. Digital Analytics Specialist is also responsible for working closely with our platform partners to ensure holistic analytics capabilities.
•Supports the development and ongoing enhancement of our digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics).
•Manages vendor/data provider/partner relationships as it relates to assigned capabilities.
•Collaborates on roadmap development for digital analytics reporting and platform upgrades.
•Executes on digital analytics best practices contributing to the growth of the business.
•Monitors KPI’s for brand partner websites and native apps in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
•Pull and blend data from various sources to analyze and provide insights on the holistic view of the customer.
•Leads development of standardized, automated, and ad-hoc reporting while working to constantly improve existing reporting templates.
•Assists in site tagging including strategy, implementation, and best practices across web and mobile applications. Produces regular assessments of on-site performance, customer traffic, conversion and customer satisfaction.
•Presents findings to key stakeholders.
•Partners with various cross-functional teams throughout the organization to help analyze online marketing strategies and make recommendations to enhance their performance.
•Leads A/B testing and personalization planning, setup, execution and analysis of test results for presentation to stakeholders
BA/BS degree in analytics, decision science, mathematics or a related field of study from a 4-year program or equivalent experience.
3 – 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, preferably retail and/or ecommerce.
3+ years of experience with digital analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
Strong Understanding of the Internet, online shopping, web design/layout and navigation
Advanced Excel skills
•Experience with data mining tools, stats packages (Access, SPSS, SAS, R, Tableau,WinSQL).
•Experience using SQL and R to query data
•Working knowledge of core web development technologies (HTML, JS, CSS).
Additional Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
•Experience with large scale, high traffic transaction-based websites and mobile applications.
•Experience with web based measurement and/or analytical tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
•Must be able to translate data analysis into business recommendations.
•Previous experience working with multiple, disparate data sources including databases, data files, web based APIs and unstructured data.
•Experience working with and analyzing VOC data
•Ability to approach complex challenges in an organized manner.
•Understanding of Agile development processes strongly preferred.
•Experience integrating user research into design.
•Excellent communication, including written, verbal and presentation skills.
•Comfortable working independently to achieve a successful result.
•Strong project management skills.
•Retail experience greatly preferred.
