The Senior Insights Analyst is responsible for participating in the development of long-term strategies necessary to achieve profitable sales growth in the business through analysis of white space opportunities, market expansion opportunities and market sizing. As well as analyzing performance to identify trends and opportunities through monthly reporting and must have ability to convert data into actionable story and data visualization, this includes analysis of stores, customer and overall company results.
The Analytics and Insights team is responsible for providing high-quality analytical and insights work in a fast-paced and fluid environment. This team provides support around:
Deliver data-driven customer insights
Provide business performance reporting
Communicate market research and analytic insights to business leaders
Work cross-functionally with areas such as merchandise planning & allocation, marketing, finance, store operations, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field of study or Marketing with equivalent quantitative work experience, master’s degree a plus
Typically requires minimum of 5-7+ years work experience.
1-2 years of business intelligence/data analysis related experience in industry.
Usage of an analytic/BI tools such as APT, Adobe Analytics, Microstrategy, R, SAS, Python, etc.
Usage of visualization tools such as Tableau
Knowledge with programming languages such as SQL
Strong knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
Capable with other Microsoft Office products
