Analyst, Senior – Competitive Analysis and Marketing Analytics

Support the organization in three key functions – 1) marketing analytics, 2) competitive intelligence, and 3) strategic planning. Applies best practices to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a digital analytics strategy for all of NetJets’ digital properties including and other externally-facing websites, internal websites and mobile apps, and NetJets’ Owner Portal. Works collaboratively with Marketing to design measurement plans for marketing campaigns to assess effectiveness. Directly supports business partners throughout the organization to understand market intelligence needs and areas of competitive advantage and/or disadvantage, contributes to the designs and maintenance of a robust competitive data collection and analysis system, and provides valuable insights to the organization on competitive positioning and developments.

50%: Marketing Analytics – applies best practices and expertise to design, implement, and maintain the digital analysitcs strategy for all of NetJets’ digital properties Creates, maintains, and updates dashboards, reports and presentations that provide actionable insights, performance metrics and strategic input to executive leadership. Helps to develop and maintain processes that support personalized marketing activities including segmentation analysis as well as develop an understanding of the NetJets digital properties in order to draw insights and support the development of the tools.

35%: Competitive Analysis – analysis of strategic and tactical questions regarding the competitive marketplace in private aviation including market share, product offerings, marketing compaings, social listening, and business developments. Works with relevant business partners to structure data, develop repeatable processes, and enable self-service for some key aspects of competitive analysis.

5%: Assists with NetJets’ long-term strategic planning process across the global organization.

5%: Collaborate with, mentor, develop, and support other analysts.

5%: Assist with strategic projects as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Course of Study/Major: Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Business Strategy, Aviation or related field
Related Work Experience: 4-6 years

Can tell the story and explain difficult concepts effectively and appropriate to the audience
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including executive leadership and peers
Initiative, drive and confidence to achieve results without explicit instruction, ambiguous problem statements, or structured direction
Detail-oriented, exceptional analytical skills, creative problem solver, and ability to understand and master new concepts quickly
Strong project management experience and skills. Ability to prioritize work, manage resources, and meet deadlines
Some familiarity with financial concepts (NPV/IRR, ROI, financial statements, valuation)
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools as well as good visualizations skills (Tableau expertise preferred)
Strong working knowledge of business intelligence tools (SAS) and advanced proficiency in digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Dynamic Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager etc.)
Knowledge of web research techniques, database skills and familiarity with standard market and competitive research sources (including, but not limited to Bloomberg, Lexis-Nexis, Hoover’s, Factiva, etc.)
