An SEO Specialist at Postali:
So what would it be like being on the Postali team as an SEO Specialist? You would be part of a small team, working on bigger-than-life projects for lawyers across the country. Law firms hire us when they want to stand out as the absolute best in their markets for their particular area of practice. It is our mission to create an experience that exceeds our clients’ expectations and also drives real value for them in the form of new clients. Going above and beyond all expectations is what we do at Postali. The prime directive for the SEO Specialist is to work with the rest of the SEO team on planning and executing strategies for law firms that are evergreen (or white hat) and that outpace/outsmart our clients’ competition.
Analyze client website architecture, content, linking and other factors to identify and execute initiatives to improve organic search visibility.
Assist clients with link building strategy and execution, including the planning and implementation of publicity initiatives.
Perform market analysis to keep our clients ahead of the competition in every aspect of their SEO initiatives.
Perform local SEO projects, including managing business data, assisting clients with review solicitation and management and executing local marketing campaigns.
Work flexibly with clients based on their needs, which may involve team-oriented, agile development approaches as well as traditional document deliverables.
Work with the SEO Director on providing client-facing reporting on traffic and ranking trends.
As an SEO Specialist at Postali, you are responsible for the delivery of all strategies for the websites we manage. The person filling this role will work collaboratively with the SEO Specialist and other team members, but ultimately have a great deal of creative freedom. Use various SEO tools to monitor performance trends and identify opportunities to improve local and organic rank.
Keep detailed and organized lists of all link building initiatives and efforts
Work with Postali team to improve and expand our SEO services, and help grow our SEO customer base and services we offer.
Work with SEO Director on improving processes and strategies for: keyword list development, URL and site architecture optimizations, content development, backlinking and other strategies that maximize indexing, rank, CTR and on-site conversion of SEO traffic.
Proactively communicate SEO results to management on a weekly basis, or more often if necessary.
Conduct analysis at least quarterly to identify further optimization opportunities for SEO.
Closely monitor algorithm updates and anticipate future shifts in SEO best practices.
Identify opportunities for both short term and long term objectives to increase search engine visibility.
Maintain personal knowledge of the latest techniques employed by leading players in the SEO space and algorithm updates released by the major search engines.

Desired Skills and Experience:
3+ years of digital marketing and SEO experience.
Must demonstrate success in a previous role involving SEO.
You must be able to plan and execute white-hat link building campaigns.
Additional skills and experience include:
Technologically savvy, and up to date on Internet and search marketing trends.
Knowledge of SEO and major factors that drive long-term success, and awareness of “black hat” or other techniques that might damage customer success.
Experience with a content management system such as WordPress is a plus.
Familiarity with web analytics tools and their use in measuring SEO success.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, both within and between organizations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, self-management and organizational skills.
Strong Excel skills including formulas, filtering and pivot tables.
