The Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analysis to support our growing Direct to Consumer business. This individual will have strong analytical skills who can apply those skills to strategically deliver actionable business insights to grow our online businesses.

This role is highly collaborative across analytics, performance marketing, CRM, eCommerce, IT and digital experience teams. This role will help contribute to and refine workflows while partnering with valued internal and external resources in order to get things done efficiently. You will understand the key decisions that need to be made and will provide data and the insights to make the best possible decisions at every level by working with stakeholders across the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain an index of reports that are used by our internal and external marketing partners to make data driven decisions
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret insights, trends and patterns in complex data sets
  • Leverage multiple technologies and platforms to produce actionable insights related to customer behavior, mobile app performance, and our DTC business. (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Tableau)
  • Ensure web and mobile tagging is up to date and functioning as expected using automated tag validation tools (Adobe Analytics & ObservePoint)
  • Support the digital experience team with data driven insights to support change
  • Gather and analyze data to measure user behavior and marketing campaign performance across all SMG owned properties
  • Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance presentations sharing the results of our marketing and direct to consumer (DTC) performance.
  • Monitor Web analytics and identify patterns, insights and conversion optimization opportunities based on data
  • Assist with the implementation of analytics platforms (Adobe, Google Analytics) on new digital properties
  • Work alongside agency partners to help analyze media performance

The perfect person will have: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Business or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience with Web Analytics and eCommerce/Direct To Consumer business, including 3-5 years analyzing data for an eCommerce leader, national manufacturer or CPG brand
  • Experience with subscription business models a plus
  • Experience building reports for cross functional teams
  • Experience with all steps in the analytic process including problem definition, hypothesis development, results analysis, summarizing and presenting analytics in an executive-ready format
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience presenting reports and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Easily picks up new technology; analytical problem-solver; creative thinker; strong communicator; curious
